Since 2000 when Prezzo opened its first restaurant, the company has grown its UK presence to over 2,500 people, serving delicious Italian food in 150 restaurants across the country.
Prezzo is about more than just good food, however, as the restaurant chain has been recognised for its contribution to the communities in which it is based, as well as its commitment to its team members.
Prezzo approached Beat Concepts in 2017 to discuss its requirement for a full-scale roll out of a new uniform within a two-month timeframe.
Our competitive pricing, experience in supplying multiple sites, as well as having the ability to mobilise quickly, made Beat Concepts the right choice for Prezzo.
Between commencing discussions with Prezzo and the deadline for the new uniform range, Beat Concepts managed to design and source UK stock that was fully branded and roll it out to 300 restaurants across the UK.
Where Prezzo had previously used laundered clothing, we chose to supply garments directly to the restaurants, which proved to be more cost effective and was better received by staff members.
With an ever-increasing need to mitigate rising costs, we now manufacture the garments ourselves and have redesigned products using more high-performance fabric.
Given the need to provide more outside seating as a result of the Covid pandemic, we also designed a new range of outdoor workwear in the summer of 2020.
We did this within a four-week timeframe, ensuring all restaurants were ready to reopen once restrictions eased.
We’ve been working closely with Beat Concepts for a number of years, but our relationship really strengthened during the Covid pandemic. They proved themselves to be incredibly supportive and able to work flexibly to extremely tight deadlines as we rolled out a new uniform look across our estate. Since then, we’ve continued to grow the partnership and the team at Beat Concepts are our go-to supplier for all our new concepts, tests and trials.
